KT Licensing (KTL), owned by Fung Capital which specializes in licensing a wide array of intellectual properties in Asia including the famous Japanese cartoon character, “Hello Kitty”, has inked a deal to purchase the worldwide rights to the Beverly Hills Country Club trademarks and associated logos.

The logo is owned by BHCC Group LLC, and the new agreement will pave the way for the development of new merchandise with the Beverly Hills Country Club brand name.

“There’s tremendous growth potential for Beverly Hills Country Club products in China, considering the high prestige of the brand name and the currently low penetration of the products in this market,” said Lee Sang Kil, Vice President of KTL.

“KTL is well recognized as the leader in developing cartoon character, life style and celebrity brands into successful Asian based multinational consumer product manufacturing and distribution businesses. The Beverly Hills Country Club is a name recognized worldwide for prestige and glamour. We are extremely delighted that KT Licensing has now joined the Beverly Hills Country Club global family of licensees,” says Paul Epner, BHCC Group Managing Director.

“The China market has tremendous growth potential for BHCC, and we welcome the opportunity to work with BHCC Group to help them develop the brand in the Mainland and other markets by utilizing our extensive capabilities on the ground,” said Brian Lee, President of KTL.
